Hollaaaa, aku kembalii, kembali dari hibernasi dunia perbloggingan.. Haha, life has sucked me hard into the world unknown. lol. ok, let's just rolling back into the right track.

remember my last post related to this drama titled Reply (Answer Me) 1994 and its soundtrack and its character named Chilbong that i love soo much?

Oke, dramanya sudah selesai sejak akhir tahun lalu dengan akhir yang nggak banget. 
Bukan karena saya fans Chilbong lalu akhirnya bilang ending drama ini sucks karna Chilbong nggak end up sama Najeong. err, that was one thing, but no, really there were more than that one.

Tentang narasi dan karakter yang nggak konsisten, resolusi yang nggak sempurna, wrap-up story yang terkesan diburu-buru, dan masih banyak lagi mengekor di belakang, bisa dilihat di soompi thread-nya Cider Couple.

Tapi nggak apa-apa, karena berkat drama itu saya jadi berkesempatan jatuh hati sama satu karakter luar biasa dan aktor yang beraksi di balik karakter itu. Yoo Yeon Seok.

Dan beberapa hari lalu salah seorang anggota international fan mereka mengajak saya bergabung ke Line chatroom mereka. Haha, beberapa komentar saya di thread soompi mereka berbuah undangan manis ini. 

Dan bergabunglah saya akhirnya saya kesana. Babblings, sharing, screaming and laughing together about many things. Nggak terbatas hanya membicarakan Yoo Yeon Seok atau Chilbong atau Cider Couple, walaupun ya, mereka tetap topik utama. We share stories about life, about school, new project, relationships, even kisses and kissing. 

Saya nggak pernah bergabung dengan fandom apapun sebelumnya. Terbatas menyukai dan mengagumi sana sini. Tapi bisa involve dan menyumbang sesuatu secara langsung cukup menyenangkan juga. Walaupun jelas dibanding member yang lain mungkin saya masih belum cukup dedikatif. hehe. one step at a time.

This song should be having sort of love-relieved and life-cherised feeling in it. This should be one happy song. Just like the title.

Unfortunately, i don’t feel it. I read the lyrics, i know the meaning of those words. And indeed, it is a happy song. But the thing is, i always get teary everytime hearing this song. especially this Lim Kim version.

After going through a long and painful weekend with Answer Me 1994 episode 14 and 15, you would feel what i feel. Moreover if you are team Chilbong. You must understand what i babble about.

God, drama, why..

Why this series should be soo good that i might feel that my life peaks on weekend lately.

And, why.. why this chilbong character should be soo great even after he got so painfully heartbreaking and bittersweet first love..

Why..

Damn this drama got me so emotional that i think i am half psychotic for rooting for chilbong so much.

Haha.

You know, that feeling, saat kamu melintas di koridor SMA yang lama kamu tinggalkan dan sejenak menoleh ke deretan bangku di dalam kelas dimana sejuta memori bersarang di sana. kamu ingat obrolan-obrolan beragam—dari guru galak, senior ganteng, latihan ekskul, drama roman di dalam kelas, sampai update gosip terbaru di lingkungan sekolah. Atau kamu akan ingat keriuhan kantin di jam istirahat, saking penuhnya kamu sampai bisa mengunyah snack sambil berdiri, membaca catatan-catatan random di mading sekolah. Or, even, your memory of a first love too.

I played this song a lot in the rushing train on the way back home.

You know, as the farms, and fields, houses and trees ran passing by, you suddenly remember about rainy days in the youth when the soil smelled so fresh, or words—the painful and sweet ones, or faces you cherised the most, or the long lost love.

In the language i don’t even understand, this song is powerful enough to knock my sense.

And makes me cry again.
